This recipe comes from one of our earliest customers Jeff Allan. A man who tries all his hot sauces by first pouring them into a shot glass and drinking them straight. Now that is dedication to hot sauce.
Spicy Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- 2 sharp cheddar slices
- Sprinkling of shredded parmesan
- Hefty amount of shredded Monterey Jack
- Jalapeño slices to taste (20 or so in Jeff's case)
Jeff's words for the perfect Spicy Grilled Cheese
So the sandwich went together like this:
Layer 1: Cheddar -> sliced Jalapeños -> Bluegill Bait
Layer 2: Shredded Parmesan -> more sliced Jalapeños -> more Bluegill Bait
Layer 3: Shredded Monterey -> more Bluegill Bait
Then make it over low heat so you have plenty of time for the cheese to get all melty, and the flavors to come together. Cut on a bias and try not to swallow it whole because the cheese will burn your mouth.
